Too-dles Bloggy!

This week has been very tough for me. As what I have blogged earlier, we had lots of things to pass namely the English 2 draft's on the whole term paper, NatSci's powerpoint presentation, quizzes, and etc. Well, the good thing was that the deadline on the notes and the outline about my topic was moved to next week. At least I have more time to make the draft (phew!)

Last meeting, Ma'am Lynnie told us lots of inspiring things that helped us a lot. She also told us about consultation hours -- time for us to ask some suggestions and comments about our paper to make it okay. She also mentioned about one thing... blogging project will end at the end of February. So, this is my last blog. Honestly, I'm kind of going to miss this thing since I getting into it. I'm going to miss the late entries (haha.) and.. EVERYTHING! We'll at least I won't be disturbed in making my paper... :D

So, BYE blog.

P.S. Maybe I could still blog but rarely... at least if I want to post something! :D

Busy MUCH..?

Another late entry from me...  Well, at least I still got the time to blog.

This week has been very BUSY for us. Lots of things to think, pass, write, do, and.. MANY MORE! I can't even think like I used to with all these things to make. I can't even have fun, use the computer and... BLOG with these things on my mind... Well, if you're wondering what these things are, I could gladly enumerate all! First, English 2's draft on the term paper would be submitted next week. Second, Natural Science powerpoint presentation about mixtures and solutions is due next week. Then, we'll be having a chapter quiz on our major subject, accounting. Exam on our BusIT lab. More activities to be accomplished! (ahh!)

Can someone stop the time? Unfortunately, no one could. Well, I guess it's all part of being an university student...  to be bombarded with a lot of things! I just wish I could meet deadlines and.... SURVIVE! (x-x).

Critics for the DAY!

Last time, we had this group activity... Well, it was related to our assignment, group assignment. Ours was about the sophisticated new technology. We we're assigned to make an outline about our thesis statement so we did but it was quite in a hurry though. My groupmates and I were really busy writing it.. but thank God we finished it right before ma'am Lynnie arrived..
The activity was about 'criticizing' or 'commenting' the outline of the group assigned to us which is group 3. I guess we did great because we were able to find what's wrong with it but it was a bit harsh to give negative feedbacks to other's work. The owner might get mad at us or something for giving such comments but it is for their own good anyway. ^_^
The whole activity was fun especially when our presentation was alright and received a thumbs up (I guess).  :D

Wut-a-wik!

As what my recent blog said that we'll be having an activity, we did and sad to say we only got low score... Well, first of all, the activity was about writing bibliographies... Ma'am Lynnie provided us some source materials and we'll get the information needed for the bibliography but unfortunately, we're only given one and thirty minutes to do so.. It was fun, especially when we wrote the info's carelessly due to time pressure.. Some of us didn't understand what we wrote.. It was pretty hilarious. Because of this, we weren't able to write the sources correctly... We got low score. But the whole activity was a blast. Not only the we learned how to write the sources, we also got the chance to have fun.

Last meeting of the week, Thursday, Ma'am Lynnie asked us about our topic, our claim to it and of course, our thesis statement. It was very nerve-wracking especially when it was my turn to be asked.. At first, I really didn't know what to say. I was pretty nervous. Fortunately, I was able to do it.. but she wasn't satisfied of my thesis... That was okay. At least I knew what's wrong with my paper...

Phew!

Last Tuesday, we didn't have a class. Maybe, Ma'am Lynnie didn't know that the ROTC Tactical Inspection was postponed and moved. So, we didn't meet. And as for that, we had plenty of time to take care of our research paper. But unfortunately, Ma'am Lynnie hasn't returned our papers yet so we really can't go on further. So I just looked for possible sources for my topic in the internet cafe and skimmed and scanned some good books in our Dept.'s library.

Thursday, Ma'am Lynnie gave us a lesson about citation of our sources. She introduced to us about the APA citation style. She gave us an assignment about it, and that is to write our sources in a 3x5 index card in an APA format to be passed next meeting. She gave us an assignment from the book. She also grouped us into four and let us bring some items to be used for the group activity which will be on the next meeting.
