First time!

Beach resorts always excite me. Every time I hear one, it always come in my mind the hot clear sky, the shiny sand that glitters in my sight, the tepid, gentle breeze that grazes in my skin, and the noises people make that cease my worries. It's always nice to stay and drench in the refreshing water once in a while.
I've been to a lot of beach resorts before. We used to spend time with my family to beaches to be relaxed and have fun. But among the resorts I've been to, the fairest, nicest, and the most pleasant of all is the Sunrise Beach Resort at Baliangao.
Just last year, December 13, 2009, my family and I went there to treat and tour my grandparents. It was our first time there so we actually prepared everything we all were ever going to need for the outing; the foods, drinks, CAMERAS...Everything! After we prepared everything, we hit the road.
There is only one way to reach the resort, and that is through riding a vehicle or a bus. Usually, it will take 2-3 hours for you to arrive there, but it really depends on the car speed though. But for us, it only took one and a half hour for us to arrive there from my beloved hometown, Ozamis City.
So, on the way there, I actually didn't enjoy the bumpy ride since I have this very common traveling "illness", seasickness. I was very dizzy and felt like I was hallucinating. It seemed like everything around me was turning and turning and after the turning part, I vomited. After we circled the road, we arrived. The place was very beautiful The little well-built cottages, the clear blue sky, the cold sea breeze, the deep blue sea, and of course, the long white glistening sands that lie along the shallow sea. It was beautiful. Everything was very beautiful. Because of our amazement, we directly ran to the sea and dived despite of the glaring heat of the sun. The water was very refreshing, cold, relaxing, and good in soothing ones self. It was beautiful. In the distance, we saw many cave-like rocks of different sizes along the shore. They were all a nice place to sleep, play, and relax! In fact, we even made miniature sand castles and buried our bodies with sands under the shed of those rocks.
My cousin directly ran and took the camera; She took pictures of us playing, running and swimming under the heat of the sun. It was really fun.
When I looked at the deeper part of the sea, I saw some small black dots beneath it. It was like a Dalmatian or a polka dotted dress. Those things were sea urchins, a small marine animals with a round body enclosed in a shell covered with sharp spines. The good thing was that we were warned not to go there because if we weren't, we would have gotten stung and some injuries.
When the sun was at its highest point, we rested under the rocks and ate our delicious, well-prepared lunch. Yummy...! Right after that, we directly applied more sunblocks and ran to the sea and played; we splashed waters, threw sands at each other, and many more!
My mother went towards us and told us to prepare to go home. So, we got up and rinsed ourselves with the clear cold sea water and prepared.
The whole resort was indeed very beautiful that in fact, I want to go there again with more experiences, more fun, and more memories with me.
