Topic to live with...
In our English class, we are already focusing with our term paper but we're still on the preliminary steps; the specific topic and the thesis statement. Well since the start of the 'school year' in 2010, we had been discussing about our term paper and of course, we were asked to choose a topic about our related fields. Since I am an Accountancy student, I need to have a topic related to it.
The very first thing I did was scan through my very first accounting book, the Basic Accounting by Win Ballada. As I was flipping the pages, it led me to my topic, The Development of Accounting. I chose this topic because I want to know where and how accounting originated and how people was able to develop it. I also chose this topic because I am already familiar and studied this topic. Just like what Ma'am Lynnie said before, we need to choose a topic of which we are familiar with for us to be motivated in writing with it.
With this, I hit to our college's library where I found the possible sources I would somehow need. And fortunately, I found five of them written and published by different authors. With the use of Internet also, I was able to find at least ten sources from different websites. But, I still need more sources and more information to be put in my research because the more sources, the more information I'll get.
Through perseverance and proper motivation, I know I could finish this in time and hope that this would somehow be an interesting topic not only to me but also to my future readers. =)
